Love my Frye booties!

I have skinny legs so I was thankful for the narrow calf option. They make me look good! I believe the laces are wax coated so they will stay laced and not come loose on their own. I may just go back for for a second pair in the other color. One thing about frye boots particularly the lace ups, they generally hold their value for years to come. So I am happy!

Cheap!

The leather is very thin and plasticky feeling. When you walk, it sounds like squeaky plastic. The laces are also shiny and feel like plastic and there is zero traction on the soles. Frye's quality has definitely gone done hill in the last 10 years.

Just ok. Upper is well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just ok. Upper is well made, a little stiff. Bottom of heals had to be immediately replaced due to being hard and slippery. Plan to do that as slippery pads aren’t safe.

Depending on the shoe (if

Depending on the shoe (if it has a heel or not) I can wear either a 7. 5 or 8. I am a size 7 but I can get away with wearing a 7. 5 or 8 in frye shoes. I've been very satisfied with all my frye shoes. They last very long. I have a pair of boots that are 10+ years old still and still going strong.
