Purchasing & Sending Gift Cards
Please visit our Nordstrom Rack gift card site to purchase a Nordstrom Rack physical or digital gift card. Gift cards can also be purchased at our Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores.
No, there aren't any fees.
For physical gift cards ordered in the U.S., standard shipping is free. If you'd like your gift card to arrive sooner, expedited shipping is $10.
Your credit card or other payment method will be charged at the time of purchase.

Gift Card Delivery & Redemption
Physical gift cards are sent inside a gift card holder. The recipient's name, sender's name, a personalized message and the gift card amount are printed inside the gift card holder. Gift cards shipped using standard shipping will usually arrive within 4–7 business days. Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee.
Our digital gift cards can be emailed to the recipient within minutes of your purchase or scheduled for delivery on a specific date you choose. The email sent to the recipient includes a link to receive the digital gift card online. When the recipient opens the link, the digital gift card design you selected will be displayed along with the recipient's name, your personalized message, the digital gift card number, the gift card amount and instructions on how to redeem the digital gift card.
You'll receive an email confirming delivery and another notifying you that the digital gift card has been viewed. If the digital gift card is not viewed, you'll receive a message with options for resolving the issue. You may also contact customer service at 1.844.639.8924 with the order number you received in your order confirmation email, and we can tell you if the recipient has viewed the digital gift card.
No. Be sure to keep your gift cards in case of refunds. Generally, refunds will be credited to your original form of payment, including gift cards with a $0 balance.
Once your order is placed, an authorization (pending charge) for the gift card/Nordstrom Note-related purchase amount will be applied to your gift card(s) and/or Nordstrom Note(s). This authorization will remain on your gift card(s) and Nordstrom Note(s) until the items ship, at which time the funds will be redeemed. While the authorization is applied to your gift card(s) and Nordstrom Note(s), the authorized funds will neither be visible to you nor available for use on any other purchase. If your order is canceled for any reason, the authorization will be removed and the funds will once again become available to use on the original gift card(s) and/or Nordstrom Note(s).
It is important to keep your gift card, as the funds will become available on the original gift card(s) in case of cancellations.
Gift card funds will be redeemed for the cost of each item as it ships. You may see multiple gift card redemptions if you have an order that contains multiple items that are shipped at different times.

All order information is transmitted using the https protocol over a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), utilizing current technology for consumer protection. Behind the scenes, your web browser is sending all order information over SSL, and the purchase process is PCI compliant. You should treat your digital gift card like cash. If you lose your digital gift card, immediately contact customer service at 1.844.639.8924.
