Quality of shoe surprised me, being AE. Shoes feel fragile, light and weak. The heel base is loud perhaps cardboard or wood, not leather stacked. I am returning them as I was dissapointed in the quality of the shoe considered the name and price.

Shoe leather feels nice and looks really nice on foot, but its hard to put on, and stiff.
The model i got said made in India and not in Port Washington, Wisconsin, which is strange to me.
I wore them for an event and my feet ended up hurting quite a bit.
Let see if it loosens with time and use.

Uncomfortable
These are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn in my life. I was so excited to buy my first pair of Allen Edmonds, and sadly, they will be my last. Unfortunately, I'm sure I can't return them now as I wore them to work. I didn't notice how bad they felt until I went to lunch and had to walk approximately a quarter mile down to the restaurant for lunch. My feet were killing me!
