Do not buy these shoes if you are looking for Italian shoes. I purchased these shoes and the ones I received were made in Portugal. Typical bait and switch. When I messaged the customer service, they decided to just tell me how Portuguese shoes are of good quality. Clearly there is a difference in price and quality of Portuguese vs Italian shoes. Just don't buy these ...or trust any labeling from Nordstrom Rack. Waste of time!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent shoe purchase. While I acknowledge I overlooked the "non-returnable" policy, I believe an exception should be made because the shoes I received were clearly used and damaged. Upon opening the package, I found the shoes were creased, and the heel was bent, indicating the previous wearer did not use a shoehorn. Despite the obvious signs of wear, the supervisor refused to process a return. She claimed the soles looked "new" and, based on that, would not make an exception to the policy. The supervisor's only suggestion was for me to call Nordstrom's directly and "plea my case" to them over the phone, which is unsatisfactory. I would never have purchased these shoes, regardless of the price, if I had been informed that they were damaged or previously worn. It is unacceptable to sell used and damaged items as new without any disclosure or consideration.
