modern denim
VB runs slightly small imo. I’m a solid 8/29 and while the 29 in these jeans does fit, they do not look loose like on the model. Not enough of an issue to return but just so you know what to expect. A true high rise, snug at the waist with a wide leg from hip down. Not crazy wide but definitely flowy. I’m guessing the raw hem keeps the production costs down since these are an anniversary sale item. Not a problem for me but if you wanted a true hem, use your nordy store alterations to do that. I’m 5’9” so I’ll keep the full length with the frayed hem but plan to trim the strands so it doesn’t look sloppy.

I love these jeans - I just didn’t realize that they’re actually black in person! The picture looks like a dark denim, but they’re black. I’m keeping them because the fit is great and it’s that nice soft buttery denim you want to live in.
