Great jacket
I really liked this blazer. I thought fabric was soft and comfotable. Virgin wool is soft!! Lined and great dickey. What a deal!! Happy with my purchase.

Terrible Quality
I hope Veronica Beard company reads this? What are you doing with your brand? The quality has taken an absolute nosedive while prices have skyrocketed. VB blazers and dickeys I’ve purchased in years past were of excellent construction, natural, high quality fabrics, and classic design. VB has always been expensive, but at least I knew I was getting a classic piece that would last for years. Most of the blazers now are mostly synthetic fabrics or a blend. The prices are hundreds of dollars more. When I saw this was virgin wool, I was pleasantly surprised. Alas, as others have said, this is not good quality, it’s not even medium quality. $900? You must think we are dumb. I’m done with VB. I’ve been a loyal customer, but no more. Please go back to your business model of quality pieces! Whomever has taken this company down the path of cheap quality should be replaced immediately.

pretty but itchy, not for me
I have several Veronica Beard blazers and dickies and love them. They usually run a bit snug so I know to order up and size 8 is a better fit for me. Pros: ai love the ruched sleeves as I am borderline petite and this makes the jacket more universal fitting. The color/pattern is also pretty. cons: the material is annoyingly itchy where it touches my skin- at the arm openings and neck/collar. The Dickie is ok but not great quality material. The shoulders also seem unusually wide and exaggerate the breadth of my shoulders considerably and not in a flattering way. Wanted to love it but will be returning it.

love it but some issues
Beautiful jacket and terrific sale price since it includes the navy sweatshirt insert. I did find the fabric itchy if I did not wear a long sleeve blouse underneath. Ordered size 10; and jacket fits but found a little snug across the back and the lapels pull out if jacket and insert (dicky) are not closed. For reference: 36DD, 165lbs; 5’3 curvy bottom. I did receive compliments and jacket made me feel very put together and confident despite the issues noted above. I would never pay retail for this item . This jacket is not made in the USA as another VB I have in my closet.

The blazer is prettier in person but I do think the quality was disappointing. The jacket and Dickey are thin and despite being lined, I still felt itchy from the wool. Does run just slightly small. If in between sizes, go for the larger size. But really I would pass on this on. Not worth the sale price.

Good concept
This is such a great idea, but poorly executed, not the quality expected fro VB jackets. I like the color, fits little snug so likely sizing up would allow to have some layer under. I didn't like the quality of the fabric, looks cheap and too casual for this price. Second thing, why putting scrunched and shorter sleeves on jacket that is supposed to be worn in colder weather??? I will pass it this time.

I have been buying VB dickey blazers for years. I think I’m done. They get thinner and more synthetic feeling every year. Returning. Nordstrom and VB should be embarrassed.
