Loved Square Toe Patent Leather Slingback Pump (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really disappointed with the quality of these shoes. I’ve only worn them about 3–4 times, and the slingback strap is already ripping. On top of that, they fit quite loose and don’t feel secure when walking. I’ve purchased Steve Madden shoes for years and still own older pairs that have held up incredibly well, so this was surprising. Unfortunately, the quality of the newer styles doesn’t seem to match what it used to be—especially for the price point. The heel also shows wear much faster than expected. I wouldn’t repurchase these and hope the brand improves its quality control.

So these are beyond gorgeous. Love the patent shine, the slightly squared toe. Very comfortable feeling, I bought my usual size 9. They do fit but the heel strap is not tight, so I worry it will loosen further with wear and my heel will slide out when walking. Toe box area is generous as well, which I love so my toes aren’t squished but narrow feet will likely find it too wide. Am considering a half size smaller to compare.
