Don’t size down if you are somewhat endowed
I tried both the 4 (my usual madewell top size) and 2 (based on the recommendation to size down). While the 2 mostly fit well, it was too stretched in the chest (34dd) and didn’t look nice when I sat down. The 4 fit much better (though I’ll still need to wear a bra without padding). I don’t mind that it’s not as snug all around. With the shorts, this is an adorable ensemble.
