I've never had Sorels before and for the past few years have been wearing my insulated winter Vans on the cold days in Denver. I still have those, but I think these are even better in terms of warmth. The soles squeaked so much at first that I was almost concerned, but after about an hour they "broke in" and are extremely comfortable. 10/10 would buy again.

Nice sneaker
The sneaker it great it was my buying experience that was not good. One sneaker came with a stain. The hoops I needed to jump through to get a new pair was way to inconvenient for anyone. No one had any answers or numbers to call and could not help me. They all kept passing me around. I would have had to pay for shipping to get a new pair just to replace the stained ones sent to me. Makes you not want to order anything online again through Nordstroms or the Rack. I am a very dissatisfied Nordstroms card holder.

Love these shoes
I had a air of Joan Explorer II that I loved because they were more like sneakers than clunky rainboots. However, the shoelaces on them sucked because they kept coming loose. I decided to give Sorel another try and these Explorer II are perfect! Super comfy and true to size. Also, I haven't had issues with the shoelaces. These are perfect for fall and early winter in the Pacific Northwest.

I’m true to size w Sorel, this is the first time that a shoe has run small. The arch is not quite in the right place and increasing size by .5 should resolve it.
They look great though!
