Hightrail Waterproof Hiking Sneaker (Women)

I really wanted to like these shoes. They are so cute and lightweight and I thought they would be the perfect trail shoe for me for hiking, but no matter what size I tried on, they rubbed uncomfortably when I walked. I tried on multiple pairs in different sizes in the store and either they were too big, but rubbing in the tongue area against the top of my foot, or the right size and rubbing in the heel/achilles area. I ended up buying the KS86 for walking shoes because they were a lot more comfortable, but I'm still on the hunt for the right hiking shoe.

These shoes come as a great relief to me. I like the color, kind of gold and beige shoe laces. The aren't full of foam that usually breaks up and way, The padding is in the sole which adds stability. The sole have good tread and in Wisconsin that keeps you from slipping around on ice. They are warmer that the rotten Asics that I was trapped in for a year. Yes I am happy with the shoes.

Having put a few mountain miles on my new Women's Hightail Waterproof Hiking shoes, I can report back that they are very comfortable, true to size and have great traction. Also, I have wide feet and the fit is fine. I haven't really put the waterproof aspect to the test but my feet did stay dry through some shallow puddles. I will take them traveling and hiking in Ireland with confidence this fall.
