Plaid Shawl Collar Blazer

I bought same jacket last year in a Large size but a different pattern. Loved it because light weight and perfect for Vegas weather. I bought the XL in this herringbone pattern to be a little looser. The labeling has changed and so has the sizing. The XL is smaller than the Large I bought last year. Still fits OK but not what I was looking for,

I saw this in store and didn’t check reviews, which I’m glad because this only has one 1-star rating as of my writing this review. The colorway of the black/brown/camel is exactly what I’ve been looking for for years and I actually love that it’s not lined. Many blazers end up feeling stuffy and too proper, so the lack of lining made this feel much more approachable and casual outfit friendly. I think this runs true to size, I sized up to a large for a slightly more oversized fit. There’s a very slight amount of padding in the shoulders but it still appears more on the unstructured side, and the length is a bit longer than most traditional blazers.
