only a few drawbacks
First of all, the shoe looks exactly in person as shown online. Let’s be honest, Birks are clunky. I thought these would be more slim, but no such luck. The color is as shown, a subtle dusty purple. They run big on me, I range 6-7 and ordered the 37. But I know the 36 would be too small. One snag, literally. The stitching that adheres the Velcro to the top of the wide strap is already loose, right out of the box. I was able to tuck it back into the hole with a narrow tool and is now indistinguishable.

These do run a tad big so I size down. They are very comfy and I seem to want to wear them with everything.
