comfortable and attractive.
After trying on dozens of sandals, I can across this one and I am so glad I purchased. I prefer the higher platform of the Papillo brand vs. the original Birkenstock. They are very comfortable and the footbed molds to your feet and gets more comfortable over time. I have fairly high arch and the foot bed and adjustable straps lets you make the shoe about as 'custom' as you can make a sandal. The double straps give you lots of support so your feet do not get tired. I have owned these for several weeks and I can easily wear them all day. If it is really hot outside, my feet can sometimes swell and the adjustable straps lets me readjust. They are youthful looking and I see ladies in their 20s and in their 60s wearing these sandals.
I purchased the patent leather black. Good value for cost. Will last several years.

Poor quality control
The white pair was on sale, so I didn’t mind some minor blemishes. BUT there was yellow glue all over the straps (which shows up a lot in white). It’s disappointing that Nordstrom would even offer a product in such poor condition. And that Birkenstock would allow a pair like this to pass quality control.

Wonderful!
I have been a Birkenstock fan for years, but these are my new favorite! I love everything about them. The platform gives extra shock absorption and is super cute. The black buckles make them ultra versatile. I would highly recommend these. They fit like any other Birkenstock I've owned, so you can go with your normal size.

I love Birkenstock sandals but these are a hard pass for me. No flexibility at all left me a huge blister on the side of my foot where the strap went across. I also don’t like the faux leather which also contributed to the blister and overall uncomfortable shoe. Loved the height of them but will be returning.

isn't it amazing how sO-called human beings (showing nO actual humanity) will pooh pooh when a brand takes The step to implement more kindness and lean towards more Vegan offerings. calling it "not real" leather. yes it is REAL leather. however, it's not your cruel ANIMAL SKINNINGS type of leather. it may be manmade or made by PLANTS. plant leather is real. and sO is synthetic. leather is a material which can consist of your cruel animal skinnings that you seek to monopolize The term for and hold status "higher end ::eyeroll:: / LOwer end" about that you enjoy at The expenses of * OTHERS *, OR other plant-derived and animal-FREE.
