Engineered for conquering the most rugged terrain, this durable hiking shoe grounds each step on shock-absorbing cushioning and high-traction Vibram® rubber.

Perfect for: Hikers looking for grippy, performance comfort on trails with lots of debris, uneven terrain and dramatic vertical changes.

Upper: Durable leather and breathable mesh provide protection and ventilation. Kinetic Fit™ Advanced footbed provides a biometric foundation that contours to the shape of your foot. A bellows tongue and protective caps on the heel and toe keep rocks and trail debris at bay.

Midsole Drop: 11mm. Classified as a high-drop measurement, it allows for more cushioning to absorb the impact of heel strikes.

Rock Solid Stability!
I bought my first Moab 3's just after Covid began. I was without a car in the city, and walked everywhere -- I suffer from hallux valgus and I sometimes feel a little unbalanced, but when I put these shoes on, my life changed! The rock solid stability of these shoes gave me the confidence to face longer and longer walks! Fortunately the hiking-sneaker look fits in with what I wear normally. I wear them every day for everything. My feet are rendered a little wide because of the hallux valgus, but the regular width shoes fit me perfectly without any tightness! Thank you, Merrell! Very happy camper!

I am very disappointed with my purchase, I received these shoes size 8 & 8.5 used! the soles were very dirty, didn't come in their original boxes, I understand sometime the ship them in Nordstroms Rack string shoe bags, but how can employees mail them dirty?? Very unacceptable. I will return tomorrow hoping to get a refund. Customer should not be receiving used/dirty shoes

Love the toe space and the ankle support but the insole is just not good. Worn 2x and 15 miles and the insole was paper thin. Great shoe just needs different insoles

From Hiking to Moab
I loved my Merrill hiking boots so much that I wore them out and thought I would try Moab. They aren’t as secure. They don’t seem to like my feet as much as the hiking boot right out of the box. I have Metatarsal and Plantar fasciitis as well as Morten’s neuromas on both feet.

These Moab 3 are the bomb!
These Moab 3 shoes are the best! I would recommend them highly. The size and width were fine. I didn’t have to size up or down. The comfort was great. Overall they were a good buy!
