Kick Out Crop Jeans

These jeans fit me perfectly. An unexpected thing that I love about them is the front pockets. They stay put and don’t inch out. They are shallow enough that they stay in my hip crease without becoming part of my leg but deep enough I can stick my hands in them. For this reason I’ve bought two more pairs. They are comfortable and just the right about of flare for me to feel slightly on trend but classic.

I’m usually a 29 in Madewell and the size fit fine. I love the wash but I hated the length. The bottom flare looked clownish on me, like I was wearing an upside down lampshade. It’s too short to be a flare but too long to be cropped on me. I wish there was a regular length version. The rise is also not as high as most Madewell jeans, so it’s a weird fit overall.
