MOTHER

Founded in 2010 by premium-denim industry pros Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, MOTHER specializes in collections that present a juxtaposition of hard and soft. The brand evokes teenage rebellion, unconditional love and hilarious insult all at the same time (the company's name is a play on the duality of the word "mother," which can be nurturing or a cuss).

runs small

These mother jeans run small. I normally wear a 28 or 29 and I had to size up to a 30 (which I hate to do!!)

very low rise

I am pretty consistently a 28, but these jeans are very low rise and I’m not sure it’s my best look. Need to try on with a couple shirts, sweaters and tops and think about it
