The Bookie Ankle Wide Leg Jeans

What happened? Received wrong item - ordered this Bookie jean, received Rambler in size 26.

These are incredibly comfortable and I love the denim and the wash. They have a really soft, lived-in feel without looking sloppy, and the color goes with everything. My only complaint is that they stretch out a little throughout the day, especially through the bum, so they don’t hug quite as nicely after a few hours of wear. Not enough to make me regret them though, I still reach for them all the time.

I love these jeans. Perfectly relaxed at the waist in my usual mother size. The color is very unique and like no other wash I own. I like the relaxed fit for a change.

For sizing reference, I’m 5’1” about 128lbs, and usually wear a size 25 in jeans. I ended up needing a 24 in these. The 25 fit initially but had a little too much room, and because the denim has some give, I knew they would loosen with wear. If you’re between sizes or prefer a fitted look, I definitely recommend sizing down. The rise is really flattering, and the length is especially good on a petite frame—no hemming needed for me. The gray wash is also gorgeous in person. Best cut jean!!

I’m normally a 27 in mother jeans. I ordered a 28 in these to get the fit shown on the model and I’m so glad I did. They’re perfect. A little slouchy in the best way.

I am a little over 5’3” tall and typically wear size 10 jeans. The length and waist (size 30) are both spot on for me. I consider these mid-rise - they hit me just below my belly button and hold in the mom pooch nicely. These are an interesting shade of grey - I think black shoes or navy shoes will both complement. They are a keeper!
