The Bookie Ankle Wide Leg Jeans

The wash on these jeans is incredible/unique. You will not have another pair like it in your closet. I generally don't love grey jeans but these are perfection. Cool and interesting. The fit is great. Not a high rise, the perfect slightly cropped length for summer sandals and they are not a tight fit/not a baggy fit. I"m usually a 26 and I tried both the 25 and 26. Both worked. There was not much difference. 25 fit perfectly without being tight anywhere. 26 fit with a slightly slouchier/more relaxed look. I went with the 25. Get them!

I’m not sure what the magic is with these pants, but somehow they are perfect for me. I usually go for high waisted jeans to minimize muffin top. I didn’t realize they were mid rise when I ordered them, but somehow it works. Grey usually is not my favorite color, but this shade is super versatile. (It really does prefer a contrasting top, I find.) I’m just shy of 5’a” and the length is perfect without tailoring. I tried this in a 30 and a 29; my true size of 28 would’ve been fine. Being short and curvy, these just should not work. Maybe it’s the whiskering being perfectly placed, or maybe it’s just that I honed my aesthetic (such as it is) with 90s Levi’s. Somehow, magically, these are just perfect.
