237 Sneaker (Women)

I’ve never worn New Balance but due to the great price, decided to give them a try. I work long days in a medical clinic and usually wear HOKAs. While the New Balance aren’t as supportive as my usual, they are comfortable and I haven’t experienced the foot and leg fatigued I thought might occur. And they’re a cute and fun look. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase.

These shoes are so horribly made. It doesn’t even make sense that it’s from a big name brand. Or that Nordstrom would put them out there. In the photos, you will see how the labels on the heels are wonky. The stitching is wonky. The tongue inside the shoe is a raw him. You can actually see foam instead of a closed him on the tongue of the shoe. It’s sheet material it’s poorly constructed. I feel like these are an offbrand Knock off and not a real thing. They also did not come in a new balance box. They came in a bag and a generic box from Nordstrom. Crazy. Oh, and then they were stains. I’m less worried about the stains and the marks that I am the sad construction. The more I look at them the worst they get. And now I have to pay $10 to ship these generic shoes back! That doesn’t sit well with me, Nordstrom.

The shoes are adorable but I was surprised that they didn’t come with an original New Balance box. Each shoe was in a plastic bag inside the shipping box. They don’t appear to have been worn but the left shoe has some dirt smudges on it that I’ve been unable to wash off. I know they will get dirty with wear but it would be nice to receive them in good new condition.
