Kick Out Crop Jeans

These jeans fit me perfectly. An unexpected thing that I love about them is the front pockets. They stay put and don’t inch out. They are shallow enough that they stay in my hip crease without becoming part of my leg but deep enough I can stick my hands in them. For this reason I’ve bought two more pairs. They are comfortable and just the right about of flare for me to feel slightly on trend but classic.

I am naturally curvy and thought these were cute but didn’t look quite right on me. Perhaps if they were hemmed a bit?

I am 5’ 4” and these are not cropped on me; they are ankle length. The hem curles up, so will need to iron. Otherwise they fit nicely.

These are great jeans, I bought them last year on the Anniversary sale in a light blue wash and had to snag another pair again this year in the grey-black wash! They fit like bootcut jeans on my 5'4" frame, the perfect length for wearing sneakers or flats. I debated getting them hemmed to make them ankle-length like in the photos, but they fit great as-is, so I decided not to bother.

Like the fit it perfect

I’m usually a 29 in Madewell and the size fit fine. I love the wash but I hated the length. The bottom flare looked clownish on me, like I was wearing an upside down lampshade. It’s too short to be a flare but too long to be cropped on me. I wish there was a regular length version. The rise is also not as high as most Madewell jeans, so it’s a weird fit overall.

Loved the color - but these ran long and large. I would probably size down and not purchase if you are 5’5 or shorter these are NOT cropped.

These are my first pair of Madewell jeans, and I’m happy that they run TTS because for some premium denim brands, I never know and sometimes, have to size down to a 24. But I purchased these in my TTS 25/0. They are soft, have some stretch, and are really comfortable. I have heard good things about their kick out crop jeans so I’m glad to be able to pick up a pair during the Nsale. They’re not cropped on my 5’1 3/4” short self, but I didn’t expect them to be. I’m just happy I won’t have to get them hemmed. I can wear them with flats or low boots. For reference, I’m about 105-107 lbs. As mentioned, for the most part, I’m a size 25/0 in bottoms and XS in tops/dresses. HTH!

Other than the length, mine fit true to size. Still deciding if the length will work since the jeans ends right above the top of my feet. This is not a heavyweight jean. I will likely wear these on cooler summer days, and early fall.

Although it fits true to size, it does not fit true to size for Madewell, which usually runs big so instead of my normal Madewell 27 I had to size up to 28 - my normal size in other brands. Great lines, flattering to the hourglass figure, but I can’t decide if the black wash is the most flattering to my thighs so I’m not taking the tags off until I get a second opinion. Standard Madewell great quality, though!

Not the same quality/thickness as their kick out crop jeans usually are. Thinner and run slightly big. But I am keeping them because they still look cute.
