Nallie Faux Shearling Boot (Women)

Nice quality boot and comfortable. Wear a 9 and a 10 in a boot - could have ordered these in 9.5 and believe they would have fit but the 10 fit just fine with room for thicker socks. The lug sole isn't heavy but isn't real light either- if I used a heavy rating scale from 1-10 for the lug heel - I'd rate this lug at about a 6 for heaviness. I found the description confusing as was the photo that shows inside the boot, which looks like it has faux shearling all the way inside - it has no insulation. The shearling is faux not real as indicated. The faux shearling is just on the front and cuff...not real helpful for warmth needed in winter states. These are going back. I think all winter looking boots on Nordies should have a separate line called "interior insulation" making suppliers state clearly what is on the inside ie - lined only no insulation, faux insulation only, leather lined, faux leather, shearling insulation, and so forth with a cold weather rating required as well as state the lug weight or rate the weight of the lug....sadly this is the 3rd pair of lug boots being returned due to lack of insulation and lugs being heavier than desired. Sadly, giving up on a lug boot at this point - it has become too daunting. If you just need a boot without any winter warmth this is very nice quality boot. It does make your foot look a tad bigger/bulky.
