Ciella Floral Cotton Maxi Dress

I ordered this dress in the blue and the yellow. I love both prints, but especially the yellow print. The fabric is very thin. The dress is lined to about mid-thigh. The hem is raw and not really cut straight. While the dresses are both pretty, I think the dress is significantly over-priced for the quality. I did purchase the dresses on sale (although still way overpriced) and will probably return both. I ordered the size small and it fit well. For reference I am 5’7”; 36” bust; 140 lbs.

The dress is very cute, but poorly designed. The fabric on the bottom in unhemmed, so it’s already fraying after one wash. There’s also a large rip along the side seam of the dress and I haven’t even worn it for the first time. The inner lining is a bit too short to be useful. Overall it’s cute but not worth the money.

I first saw this dress in store, so I knew it was going to be darker, which is why I bought it. I usually go for black, but I wasn’t crazy about the black print. I’m usually a large and sized down into a medium. I love how it fits, especially around the top. I have those little chubs by my armpit and it covers it nicely! I feel so pretty in this dress. It’s the perfect summer dress. I’m 5’5 and the length is good, as long as I wear a little bit of a platform. Still might cut like 1/2” off. Since it’s a raw edge hem, it’s easy to cut it yourself if you need to.
