Sweet Nothings Floral Print Sleeveless Maxi Sundress

I am 5’2” and got this dress absolutely was obsessed because free people always runs BIG - usually 2 sizes up on majority (I am a free people connoisseur!) but this actually fit so well in an XS - I’m 100 lbs - but 2 issues (and I’m telling you this dress was soooo good) until I pulled up the straps, they were incredibly long, and I am full bust up top so the straps would absolutely not fit an XS chest. I am a C/D and the straps still fell off the shoulders, and you can’t adjust them tighter, then I realized it was see through on the cream. I would assume same for blue. I might try something under it but for the price it’s really not worth altering when you can find another brand that isn’t a hassle. Free people has major sizing issues, and that’s fact! You truly never know.

I got the gardenia combo dress and the fabric is so pretty! I had a little trouble with the straps - even on the shortest adjustment they were a little long and the bodice fit a little too low. But - you can wear the straps criss-crossed across your back and it fits much better! I can't wait to wear this all summer. Fits true to size and hits at the ankle. Straps can be adjusted to wear as show in the photos, or if you are smaller chested like me you can criss-cross them in the back for a snugger fit.

Love the pattern and non-iron needed fabric, it does have adjustable straps with buttons but I do agree that it feels a little cheaper than the price point…. Sizing is a bit off - I’m 5’8, 6/8 in dresses, 145lbs, 36c/b bust. Preferred the fit of the M in general but the bodice is slightly tight and low so ended up with the L. A bit more fabric around the waist and hips now, but I’m a sucker for the print !
