Blair Faux Suede Jacket

Very impressed by the design and quality of this jacket. It’s weighty, structured, comfortable, and the collar is nice and stiff. The exact kind of fabric I want to wear on a chilly fall day. The sleeve snap detail gives it extra interest. It’s straight cut, so it has a boxy fit, but the structured fabric and the shoulder seam placement (not a drop shoulder) make it a good boxy versus a frumpy boxy. Tall girl and hourglass shape approved. The brown is a neutral dusty brown (the pictures make it look warmer) and has a dark brown pop behind the zipper that adds a nice touch. It gives field-jacket-meets-moto-jacket vibes. The red is a vibrant blue-red and looks less casual, you could dress it up with dark jeans or a black jumpsuit. Another comment mentioned a bad smell, I tried multiple sizes and colors and did not experience that, so that may have been a fluke. As with all FP clothes, sizing is a mystery… I’m a US size 12 (38D), normally a large in other brands, and I went with a medium. It fits well with a bit of room left for layering. I’d recommend TTS if you’re going for the “I stole my boyfriend’s jacket” look, otherwise size down one.
