love but sizing is off

I have 5 pairs of these FP barrel jeans. Four of them are 27’s and 2 fit true and the other two fit large. I have the leopard and got in a 27 but they were too tight and had to size up to 28. I got a 28 in the snake thinking that since the leopard in the 28 fit loose that that size would be fine. 28 came and I couldn’t even close them. I had to size up to a 30. This is absolutely ridiculous that one can’t trust the sizing. I won’t be buying any more of these especially if I can’t try them on first. I LOVE the jeans, but it is extremely frustrating.

Cheap fabric, weird fit

I ordered two Good Luck Mid rise barrel - both fit very different and equally unflattering. Check images. I don’t understand what is what size for these jeans. Free People need to keep up!

I purchased both colors pictured. Favorites. Fabric is right texture and thickness. Can wear both in South Texas summer and winter. I'm 5'3", 133 lbs, hourglass shape. Waist and hips fit perfect, length just above ankles. Wear 6-8, bought 28.

Looks cheap

The print looks good in the image but in person, it just looks cheap. Intentionally weathered and faded in spots - probably intended to make it look NOT chintzy. But it still doesn’t quite work. Slightly small / true to size. Even if it fit, I’d return it!
