Caty Shirred Shoulder T-Shirt

I just picked this up in the green color at my local Nordstrom Rack. The material is lightweight, with a nice drape. Great by itself or Spring/Summer, or layered for Fall. There is a slight metallic sheen to the fabric, and while not sheer, is a tad see through (like a linen, but this top is I think a Polyester/Rayon blend (requires laying flat to dry)). I initially tried on a large in green, and medium in black. The large was very big and not flattering on me (Size 10-12 tops, 36DD) so I kept the medium in black. I went back to the rack to check other colors and sizes, and put several sizes against each other in comparison, realizing there was not much difference (less than an inch in width and length). Since there was no medium in the green color, I compared a small to the medium and noted noted still less than an inch difference, so I kept the green in a small. It fits nicely (IMHO) with a nice drape and doesn't cling too tightly, but just has a more tailored look. Because I have broad shoulders and a larger chest, I didn't want the baggy look and a larger size would have not looked flattering on me. The length of the small size still hits a couple of inches below the hip, perfect for either tucking in or leaving out for a casual finish. Shoulders fit nicely with the slight ruching adding a bit of interest, and the scoop neckline isn't so wide that I worry about bra straps showing. Since it's not going to be machine dried, I'm not too worried about shrinkage. Overall, a nice top I can wear to work for a smart/business casual look, or just running around town with jeans for a more put together casual day. I would prefer a slightly denser knit so it wasn't so (honestly only more noticeable with a black/dark bra underneath) and had no metallic sheen, so it's not "5 stars" for me for those reasons.
