Chandler Lug Chukka Boot (Men)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The chukka boots were originally designed for the British Army to be worn in the desert, so it is no surprise that this is a very comfortable boot. They are also easy to put on and take off compared to other dress boots. The fit of this chukka runs a bit larger for me compared to other Allen Edmonds boots. I normally wear 9EEE, but for this model I believe 8.5EEE would have been a better fit. I would recommend trying multiple sizes, especially if you are between sizes. The quality is top notch. When you examine the boots closely, the construction quality is spot on. The color of the boots is black, and I found that the combination with dark-wash denim works better than with blue chinos. Overall, I highly recommend these boots.

I swapped out the standard laces for para-aramid fiber “unbreakable” laces, which only adds to the boot’s already robust build. The result is a pair that feels nearly bomb-proof—ready for airports, streets, and everything in between.
