Randolph 2.0 Loafer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My go-to shoe for really dressy evenings is the Randolph in black--and I've had two pairs in a period of over 50 years! I got my first ones in 1980 and kept them until 1997, when, after many resoling and re-heelings, I wore them on my first business trip to Bordeaux, France, and gave them a "viking's funeral," leaving them there to fill my baggage with other purchases! I replaced them and have the second pair--until now reserved for VERY dressy affairs. This pair came in an unusual material--black horsehair surface, giving the shoe a unique and discreet lustre. This will be my go-to for special events!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Be ready for compliments! Just got both of the pony hair Randolph 2.0's this week. I wore the Cheetah to work yesterday. They needed no break-in even without socks. They both look fabulous and appear well constructed. Did I mention the compliments? I also have a pair of Randolph 2.0's in Brown Museum Leather. The pony hair version is much more flexible and has that broken-in feel. The black pony hair looks more textured. Almost like it was velvet. Very luxurious. People want to touch both versions. I wore with jeans for the pic. Can't wait to dress them up. Did I already mention the compliments?
