Randolph 2.0 Loafer

It is a sophisticated choice for the individual who values the hallmarks of traditional shoemaking but wishes to subvert expectations through texture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for The Randolph 2.0 penny loafer in pewter. The Randolph line offers some beautiful shoes. I love the sleekness of the offerings, with some reservations. In particular, the suedes, are perfectly suited for casual wear without socks or using no-show socks. The height of vamp is ideal. They do run a bit snug, so buying your regular size or increasing the size by 1/2 or the width by one letter, should be considered, depending on how you plan to wear them. You be the judge. I purchased my regular size, and I'm hoping there will be that bit of stretch that usually occurs with loafers and suedes. I'm not particularly fond of the ridge that encircles the heel cup. It may be functional, but to me it seems forced to add a bit of character, style and dimension to what was already a very elegant, casual loafer. With that being said, I like the style so much that, to date, I've purchased four pairs in varying styles and colors.
