AE Quality Slipping
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] QC on these boots is horrific. I wouldn't have bought them like this as seconds, but these are brand new. Leather is delaminating inside the boot, multiple areas where stitches are already coming apart at the front of the boot. sloppy application of glue as well, as there are multiple places where glue seeped under the stitching? Leather is ruined in multiple places with dye, and somehow the boots are already scuffed like someone polished them too heavily with a rag. First pair of AE's where I'm completely disappointed, despite getting a "deal" on a "brand new" pair of shoes. They're going back and I'm looking for a new shoe brand. Do yourself a favor and search youtube/reddit for AE quality in the last few years.

Great boot for the colder months
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love these boots. They have become my everyday boot during the winter. I am usually an 8.5 and went with a 9, I don't regret that. Gives room for thicker socks. They are stylish with the moccasin toe and I just love smelling that fresh leather. My one piece of feedback is I wish they had hook eyelets at the top. Can be a bit difficult putting them on/off. I would definitely recommend these as a stylish winter boot.

Good structure but not weatherproof
Great quality leather both exterior and inside lining, and sole is fantastic. Fits nicely because of its well-built structure. However, the toe cap stitch on the right foot is crooked. And only wear this shoe when it's dry outside. I am unsure what "weatherproof" actually means because my feet still got wet on a light rainy day.

Great boots but could improve
Good fitting, great looking comfortable boots. Just wish these had speed hooks and steel shanks rather than wooden ones.
