Gemma 'Ab'Solution High Waist Girlfriend Jeans

The description on the page is incorrect: The leg opening is NOT 30" (obviously) - it is 13 1/2. The front rise is not 13 1/12" - it is around 9 1/2 (Mid to low-rise) - basically an inch or 2 below belly button. The fit is more like boyfriend jeans, the butt area bunches up, very baggy. As well, the page description say: 99% cotton, 1% polyester-It is not - the tag say: 98% cotton and 2% spandex. Did WW do a makeover and didn't update the description? Lastly, some reviews talks about the "strong order", mine came smelling like sprayed with a few spritz of cheap perfume. (Not sure if someone bathed in perfume tried this on before me or if the packer tried to hide the odor people complaint about with a spray of perfume?)

I’ve been a long time buyer of W&W jeans for their comfort and reliability in terms of sizing. In the last there has always been a Lycra component giving them the stretch and comfort. Recent purchases in 2025 have found that the quality has changed - the last few I’ve purchased this year are without Lycra (cotton/poly blend - no stretch), are running 1 size smaller, and the button hole is too small for the button. I’ve returned multiple pairs trying to get the sizing right but have yet to find a good balance. These Gemma gf jeans are no exception. Though cute and seem to be good quality, they definitely run small which made me curious about reviews saying they run large. I just repurchased these in a 12p hoping they fit. I do not feel like this is a Nordstrom issue- just wondering what’s going on in the factory where these are made. Note that I’m generally 10p or 12p - purchased the only pair of 10p available and couldn’t get them pay my thighs. Hoping the order for 12p doesn’t get canceled - and that they fit.
