Skyrise Slim Straight Leg Twill Pants

So many women's pants are way too long for my 5'5"height.. These are perfect, worn with with a comfortable 2" heel. I bought these in Size L, although I generally wear a M, and the fit is great. If you really were a size L, they would be too tight. I like the belt loops; I can tuck in a shirt and it looks great., And I love the celadon color!

I bought these in the Celedon color, which is green. They fit. My legs just aren't long enough to make them looked "cropped" as in the picture, nor short enough for them to look like regular pants. I should have known better. Cropped anything looks like kind of a mistake on me. I mean, if I tucked them into boots it wouldn't matter. But I have so many other clothes I just know if kept these, they'd never get worn.

... and my hubby replied, "WAY!" Although I like this brand a lot, this style will go back. For fit comments context, I share that I'm 5'4" tall / 108 (ish) # / 29" (minus) inseam and I own a couple of other pair of Wit & Wisdom pants in size 4, ankle length, straight leg design and they fit perfectly for straight'ish leg but with lots of room in the waist. The latter is a design feature that I appreciate given at my age gravity is working against me (with apologies to John Mayer for cribbing his lyric) and after a youth-time of having my clothes tailored to bring in the waist, I am now always on the hunt for bottoms that are high rise (the best anti-muffin top element) and are forgiving in the waist, as Wit & Wisdom pants are. But this style was too big everywhere and the legs were so wide that I'm hard pressed to call them "Slim Straight" per their description. If you try these, I recommend ordering down a size and expecting a wider leg style. Well made for the price point. So there's that.
