Frayed High Waist Ankle Boyfriend Jeans

I really love the fit, just a tad loose but not sloppy and fit like an almost perfect boyfriend jean. I say almost because of the high waist fit. A true ‘boyfriend’ jean would be mid-rise at most. But these are flattering and comfortable which is the essence of boyfriend jeans. I found the length to be perfect whether rolled cuff or not. I’m 5’7.5” with a 30” inseam for reference. I would’ve given these five stars but removed one because of the back pocket stitching on the top of each pocket. Instead of the double stitch on every other paid of jeans they have, these have one line stitch across the top, the hem sticks out of the pocket and they do not lay flat. It’s annoying and was that way prior to washing, after washing made it worse. I ended up having to have a seamstress fix this because the bunching and sticking out took away from the sleekness of the jeans and just really bothered me. I was going to purchase a second pair of these but decided not to because of this flaw. I found a similar pair from KUT w the Kloth that works perfectly. And yes, as other reviews mentioned, these jeans have an odor when the arrive but it is easily remedied when laundered.

I went with my gut ordering these, and I wasn't disappointed. I followed the reviewer suggestions and sized down. I'm a pretty consistent 12 petite in jeans, and the 10 petite has the fit I want with this style, which is a little oversized. If I wanted a closer fit, an 8 petite may have worked, but this way I can put them in the dryer. I am 5'3", and they are not as cropped on me as on the model, but are just above my ankle. Perfect for loafers and mules. I'm excited to wear them this fall.

I really love the way these look! I am pretty short 5'2 and these are not too long on me. They look like the length in the picture. If you are wanting capris they are not that. They are more above the ankle a bit. I don't usually do straight legged jeans but I really like the way they hang and they don't make me look too wide! They have a little fringe at the bottom that is so cute! I know some people said they are large, but I didn't experience that. They fit well around the waist and did the normal thing of getting a bit larger by the end of the day. If you have very skinny legs maybe they would be large in the leg? I not sure though I got a 6, as I am losing my baby weight from pregnancy and they fit well without being too tight. I really like them!
