High Waist Barely Barrel Jeans

Love this brand so despite buying and returning many barrel jeans I decided to try one last time ith this brands version and they are a keeper! Finally a barrel jean that is not clownish on!!

These jeans are super cute, and I'm excited to wear them! The denim has a nice mid-weight feel — not too heavy, but substantial enough that they don't feel flimsy. The high waist sits just below my belly button, which I found comfortable. I wear Wit & Wisdom jeans almost exclusively, so I'm very familiar with their sizing. Compared to the Sawyer and Gemma styles, these run slightly larger. I ended up sizing down one size, and the fit is much better.

I’m 5’1” and I ordered a 6P and it fits great in the hips and thighs. However the length did not hit me the way it did for the model in the picture. It hit below my ankles at an awkward length.

Pay close attention to the rise measurements because these don’t even come close to covering my bellybutton. They definitely run at least one size off so order down. I think these are cute but sending back because I just can’t handle anything sitting lower than my natural waist.

Overall, the High Waist Barely Barrel Jeans are a great color and a good length, but they definitely run large. I typically wear a size 4 and ordered a size 2, but it was still too big through the waist and hips for me. However, they are on the slimmer side for a barrel jean on my legs, which I prefer. I plan on ordering a size 0 since they are simply too cute to not try again. Also, the price is great during the Anniversary Sale.
