perfect fit and waist band

I love this brand. The waist band is amazing. The jeans are slimming and don’t stretch out. I do size down one size in these and I love them.

So Tired of Sizing Circus

Purchased these jeans based on the size chart provided on the site, but unfortunately the jeans run large - AGAIN! Why is it that measurements given do not correspond to the actual garment??? Will have to return these, and they are not available in a smaller size anymore.

Sizing chart woes

These are absolutely beautiful but as other reviewers have mentioned they are way too big. Knowing my "normal" size for one brand of jeans doesn't mean very much when buying from another brand, I measured myself against the sizing chart and then went down a size after reading other reviews. When the pants arrived it was clear I could have easily gone down 1-2 additional sizes. I will be returning these pants.

Good fit and color!

Nice jeans! The fit is true to size -- just 2-3 inches too long (but I'm 5'3", so I guess that's to be expected). They're a nice addition to my jeans wardrobe -- the dusty rose is a pretty good neutral color that works well with white, black, grey and navy.

Baggy Fit wide legs

These are more of a relaxed fit than the regular jeans,very baggy in the legs. I would usually wear a size 8 so I bought a 6 and I probably could have gone down to a 4. I'm 5'3 and 150#

I am a size 8-10 and after reading the reviews I went with the 8. Good advice. The waist fit perfectly as did the hips and legs. All but the length. I am 5’6” and these would need a double roll up hem or some 3 inch heels. I didn’t want to pay to have them hemmed and didn’t buy them for heels, so they will be returned. Otherwise, a nice fitting, comfortable pair of jeans/pants.

great but color runs!

Fit is fabulous, consistent Democracy experience. A tad longer than normal but not dramatic. But they bled so badly it ruined a whole load of clothes. Please wash first few times solo! I have never had that happen before.

Cute and comfy

I usually run 10-12 depending on the brand and it seems like I'm more 8-10 in this style. I'm tall so the long length is great. They have elastic around the inside of the waist band which makes them super comfy. The color is pretty.

Not running tts

I am a regular Democracy Jean customer in size 8 and this pair was too large. The length generally needs shortening for me, as expected. I also ordered this style in size 10p which is another size I can wear at times and they were even larger. Both will be returned.

Nice jeans

I love Democracy jeans I have at least 20 pairs. Unfortunately I will be returning these jeans. They are at least 4 inches too long. After getting a great price I don’t want to now spend money to get them hemmed. They do run large so I’m glad I size down and they fit great except for the length. I’m think you need to be at least 5’8 or taller for these to fit. I’m only 5’4”

too big

I’m a regular Democracy jeans wearer and I sized down a size and these are still TOO large in the hips. I could probably go down 2-3 sizes. Not sure what happened. Truly a shame because the quality and style are so cute for spring and summer.
