Waist band has lots of stretch and jeans are stretchy. I buy a 32 in denim, so I bought a 16 and they were slight big, so I would say these run large.

Seams came out
Nordstrom does not stand behind their products. When I was wearing these I noticed the seams were coming out in 2 places. When I tried to return them they wouldn’t take them back because I had worn them. Being from Seattle and a long time customer I know the customer service and return policy were excellent. Sorry to see this has changed. Check all merchandise carefully before you wear!

AMAZING JEANS
I absolutely love these jeans!! So much so that I plan to buy more in other colors. I have hips and butt and these hugged them perfectly and make them look real nice! And I love the waistband. It's sort of elastic but not....hard to describe. All I know is I love these jeans!

Beautiful Jeans
These were beautiful true color black jeans. The fabric was soft and comfortable. They look great if you’re looking for a nice pair of skinny jeans. I’m slim built and can’t pull off the skinny jeans look so sadly had to return. They’re also true to size and are lovely for the price. I’m 5’7, 118 lbs and ordered a size 2.
