Comfortable but not flattering
The shorts have spandex so they stretch and are comfortable. The length isn't too long, but the high waisted style is not flattering unless one has a flat stomach. That's my problem area so they didn't work for me. I sent them back. They ran a little large. I am between a 4 and 6 and the 4 fit perfectly so size down if you're between sizes.

Best shorts ever
These are amazing! Soft denim with a touch of stretch. The waistband has a hidden insert (not plain elastic) that keeps your shirt from looking stretched out after wearing, but has enough give to be amazingly comfortable.
I have owned three of these in different lengths and colors of denim. Would like more colors
