I bought on sale after reading an Influencer blog claiming these were her "go to" boots. I can't agree more. Yes, they're stiff leather, but the boot is very comfortable to walk in all day with no break in needed. The top rubbed a bit on my lower leg, but I've since made sure to wear socks that come up my leg a bit to avoid any irritation. I ordered a size 9, which is a typical size for me. I purchased in black and believe I will get many years of wear in these boots. They're cute with cropped pants and jeans as well as boot cut and flared leg.
