Quiet Luxury Hair Clip

I have a number of French flat clips and I love them, so when I was in Nordstrom Rack this weekend, I picked up the “quiet luxury” clip, which is described as “flat.” It was a hot day, so imagine my surprise when I coiled my hair to make a French twist and the bottom part of the clip is not flat or gently curved, but actually a crescent, practically a half circle. This awkward shape means it doesn’t sit flat on my head and instead pokes into it. This is a substantial clip, so that means it actually is pulling my hair down rather than holding it up. I wish I’d saved my $12 to buy a different clip.
