I like the style and fit of this sneaker. I normally wear an 8 but needed an 8.5. Bought them to wear around NYC. The reason for the 3 rating - shoes were comfortable for the first 2 days but then cut into my ankles with vigorous walking. I would recommend wearing them around a few days before taking on a long trip to break them in.
