What it is: A slippy detangler that aids in loosening stubborn knots and tangles.

Who it's for: Ideal for curly, coily and tight textures.

What it does: Define and loosen tangled curls with PATTERN's fan-favorite Detangling Nectar. This detangler eases combing through knots and curls. This slippy formula is crafted from sea moss, aloe vera and grapeseed oil to leave hair with shine and hydration. Founder Tracee Ellis Ross picked a fragrance that's clean and not overpowering with notes of neroli, rose and patchouli.

How to use: Apply the detangling treatment to wet or dry hair. Evenly section hair before distributing the formula. Apply product on each section from roots to ends. Use as desired.

Is it soap?
I’m confused. I’m wondering if mine was filled with the wrong content. It foams up a lot, like soap, has zero slip, and doesn’t detangle my hair at all. The cleansing shampoo gave me more slip than this. I think this needs to be reformulated. I’ve tried it on damp and dry hair, and it’s the same bad results with each.

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried using this product to detangle while in the shower as I normally do, but this specific “detangler” actually made my tangles worse and even harder to get through.

Silky soft detangling always.
It’s the ONLY detangling product I will ever use. Silky, soft, shiny and curly is what I get when I use it. No other product out there gives what this gives. I absolutely love it.

Just ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was ok I'm not sure how it would do on different texture hair but we'll see. It foams which is ok but the leave in conditioner worked more of a detangler than this. It's smells really amazing tho
