Hotspots on ball of one foot immediately
I was very hopefully when i bough a pair of the new Balos (in place of 1080s), but i developed hotspots on the balls of my left foot only that turned into painful painful callouses (corn) very quckly. i was too stubborn so ran with them way too long. Switched back to my Rebel V4.
Shoes was nice and soft. I am a midfoot runner so this may not have been a problem if i was a heal striker.

My opinion
I love the shoe . It is a great slow shoe . Makes the slow mile fly by . But my one problem is the out sole . I think that the hole outsole should have been rubber. I have had problems with the non rubber parts
