The Dodger Skimp High Waist Cuffed Hem Wide Leg Jeans

I feel like these are more stretchy than the description lets on…I wouldn’t consider them a non-stretch like some other denim (like Levi’s for instance). I’m between a 27&28 but a few reviews mentioned they ran small so I grabbed the 28. I will be returning and hoping the 27 is still available. They are a bit higher waisted than I like but cute enough that I’d like to try in the right size and hope for the best. They are not a thick denim so the high waist should be uncomfortable.

No pair of gray jeans compares to these. These jeans are soft, drapey, and slightly baggy in a very flattering way. Ignore the "cuffed style" they advertise; I wear the cuff unrolled and it looks significantly better this way. Caveat: I am 5'10 and they drape on top of the shoe when uncuffed but perfect for my height. If I was any shorter, I'd still buy them without hesitation and get them hemmed. I made the mistake of trying them on before checking the price tag, because as soon as I saw myself in the mirror, I was not leaving without buying this pair.

I'm guessing I'm not the average buyer for this item, but I figured my review might be helpful, nonetheless. I am 49 years old, 5' 11" and have reached the "can't get rid of this tummy fat" stage of life. I used to wear very slim fits, but thought the wider leg thing might be more flattering, and I'd say these pretty much are. I'm generally a 32 to 33 in Mother jeans and the 33 worked a lot better. Still doing a bit of smooshing on the backside, but in front I'd say they look pretty good, and I'm hoping they will give a bit with wear. they are wonderfully soft and not overly rigid. I was surprised that these are the perfect length on me, so I'd have to imagine they'd be too long for those on the shorter side. Hope this helps :)
