Upper: Durable leather and breathable mesh provide protection and ventilation. Kinetic Fit™ Advanced footbed provides a biometric foundation that contours to the shape of your foot. A bellows tongue and protective caps on the heel and toe keep rocks and trail debris at bay.
Midsole Drop: 11mm. Classified as a high-drop measurement, it allows for more cushioning to absorb the impact of heel strikes.

perfect for crazy hikes and wide feet!
I read about a million reviews regarding these shoes before I bought them, and I would say they live up to all the reviews! I have wide feet but I got the regular fit, and they were PERFECT! The toe box is wide and I had plenty of space. I sized up a half size to account for socks, but I can’t rave enough about these shoes! They barely needed breaking in, and I used them to hike Acatenango in Guatemala through heavy rain, mud, dirt, and straight incline for hours, but they held up AMAZING! They were light and my feet never got soaked despite the heavy rain and mud. I haven’t hiked much, so I feel very grateful I got this lucky on my first pair of hiking shoes! They are light, comfortable, and supportive (especially for my wide and flat feet). I would recommend you get these for any trip or activities!!

Nice shoe but not close to the correct sizing!
I purchased 2 pair in different colors - 1 from Rack, 1 from another retailer. This pair was smaller than the pair purchased from the other retailer (so disappointing) & I returned them.

I love the MERRELL Moab 3 hiking boots I bought through Nordstrom Rack. I paid $59.99 plus tax and shipping. I was disappointed when the box I received had a Nordstrom price sticker that said $49.97. I feel slighted. BAD double standard of pricing!!!!!

Poor quality- stitching is off
Very disappointed. Out of the box, stitching is off/asymmetrical; some threads unraveling; left and right holes of shoe lace misaligned so shoe laces look crooked horizontally.
Great and quick delivery but they will be returned.

The title says it all. Mother of all boots.
This is at least my 5th pair of MOAB family low hikers. I also have several high versions for real hiking. They are my standard “street” shoe so I keep multiple pairs in rotation and colors. I’ve had a couple of foot surgeries and these are the one shoe that consistently keeps me pain free and supported no matter where so am or how many miles I’m going. I love them and will always have multiple pairs available. Thank you Bill & the Merrel team for making the MOABoots. You’ve kept me comfortable and walking for well over 10 years.
