Royal Platform Penny Loafer (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hairdresser owns a pair of the black Royal and I fell in love with the look but not knowing I would fall in love with the comfort as well. I bought them mainly for work. They are super comfortable to be in for an 8 hour shifts. I hope they come back in stock because I need another pair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are so comfortable and cute. I get so many compliments every time I wear them! Definitely size down as suggested. I would give the 5 stars off the look and comfort. But the “signature Melissa” scent gives me a migraine every time I wear them. So be aware, if you are smell sensitive that all the jelly shoes have a very strong “bubblegum” chemical that takes forever to air out and is very overwhelming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always order size 8 in Melissa website. I got these shoes and they are bigger than a 8 size. And they are super wide. I requested to switch for a size 7 or 7.5. The returns are complicated. I kept them. Put an insole and some tissue paper in the point. At least I can wear them and I don’t have to go through the hassle of paying for a return to buy a smaller size. I won’t probably buy a Melissa again. Because it is a hit or miss.

I’m a 9.5 and normally I would get a 10 but that was sold out. So I ordered a 9 based on the description. Nope. They do not run big. Unfortunately I had to return. So sad because they are gorgeous out of the box.
