Targhee III Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot (Women)

I finally caved and bought these after my old work shoes were actively falling apart and I wish I bought these sooner! They're super comfortable and I'm often on my feet for 12 hours a day in them. They have great traction and support while not feeling clunky. I'm excited to wear them hiking soon!

I have a very difficult time finding shoes wide enough to fit my foot. I've had foot surgery so I can't wear too tight fitting shoes and sometimes my foot just doesnt fit because of its width. This boot has a wide enough toe box that I didn't need to buy a wide size and the size 7 fit perfectly. I could still pair e boot with a thicker sock and still be okay. I'm really excited to have found something that fits and rhwy did feel comfortable too. If you have a narrow foot this would most likely be too large for you.

Read a bunch of reviews online saying that they have “out of the box comfort” and are a good all around intermediate hiking shoe so I was hopeful. I thought the size was perfect and the toe box wide enough so my toes didn’t feel constricted like with most shoes, but even just wearing them for a couple minutes in my house they made my feet hurt like I was wearing ski boots! I don’t want to test them on the salt covered sidewalks and I’m not sure when I can take them on a test run on the trails so I don’t know if I should decide to return them or not.
