Henson XC4 Waterproof Chukka Boot

This is a really comfortable boot, and I have worn this several times. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star rating is I feel they can improve the ankle area support and stabilize it a bit more to provide a stronger area of support. Other than that, the quality is great. The feel is excellent. It fits comfortably and true to J&M sizing.

I like the boots at beginning they feel a little big on the wide side I inserted insole inside that took care of the problem they feel good now very comfortable I do a lot of walking they are water prof I used them for work they shine good I got lots of compliments I’m very happy with them I think I got my money worth!!

The leather on the real product is both glossier and textured, unlike it appears in photos. This was not what I was looking for, so I returned it without trying it on. The gloss and detailing on the seam makes it a more formal boot than I wanted.

Best boot ever. Great support and do not rub on ankle like other boots from other brands.

I absolutely love these boots for standing on my feet all day in a hair salon as a hair designer. They are so comfortable and light weight on my feet and legs. They are exactly what I was hoping they would be when I saw them. Only thing is I have to put arch support insoles in all my shoes including running shoes but that is no big deal. Great boots and great price!!!

I’m extremely happy with this boot, it’s extremely comfortable, light weight, stylish durable. I was fortunate to find it on sale, but I definitely would’ve bought it at regular price. I’m going to purchase a brown pair as well.

Definitely large sizing. Typically wear a 12. I would down size at LEAST a half size. They went back.

It's hard to find good looking boots that have good underfoot cushion. These are it! I personally would not pay full retail though because there is no rubber outsole. The bottom is foam. Yes, the foam makes it comfy, but these would not be good for outdoor activities besides walking. They will be slippery in ice/snow. In addition, the biggest thing I've noticed is when you take out the removable insoles, there's a layer of fiberboard, which means your foot is not directly touching the midsole foam. Yes, you can still feel the cushion, but imagine a floppy thin sheet metal between your foot and the foam. Wished they could remove that, but I understand it's for stability. Most boots will have some sort of fiberboard or shank anyway. All in all, they're worth it if you find them discounted. Definitely not durable like Red Wing boots, but will be so much more comfortable underfoot. Just keep in mind since the foam is in direct contact with the ground, it will wear out quicker. But if you rotate them with other boots, they'll last a good while.

Excellent pair of boots. Well made, comfortable, sturdy and wide. I bought a second pair. It’s a classy boot and it’s light. Can wear comfortably all day.
