What it is: A lightweight, emollient-rich moisturizer that is an advanced facial treatment and broad-spectrum sunscreen in one.

What it does: It provides lasting hydration and visibly improves the skin's overall appearance, while SPF 20 protection helps shield skin from premature aging due to sun exposure. It's formulated with blue algae extract, which is a rich source of vitamin E and helps keep skin supple and reduces inflammation; sea parsley, which is a potent anti-irritant, which contains a combination of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals that work together to improve skin's appearance; and vitamins A and E, powerful antioxidants to help protect skin from free radical damage. Phospholipids bind moisture to the skin and help support the natural skin barrier.

How to use: After cleansing and shaving, apply the moisturizer liberally to your face and neck at least 15 minutes before sun exposure.

The best sunscreen
I’ve used this for years. It goes on nicely. Absorbs so well. I use it under makeup. yes I’m a woman using a men’s brand. Why? Because the scent is barely there and I really appreciate that! My kids needs to start wearing a daily sunscreen and we picked this for them too.

New formula is terrible
I've been using this product for many many years and always enjoyed the feel in the non-greasiness of i, but now they've changed the formula and the smell is unusable it is terrible. I have no idea how a company like this could not have people smelling this prior to releasing a new formula. My suggestion is go back to your old formula you had a good product but not anymore!

Change in double duty inactive ingredients
Change in formula inactive ingredients leaves a different smell. This is too bad. Please Jack Black change it back. Not sure if I’ll buy this again.

Excellent
Please consider keeping this size as an option. It says limited time deal. I don’t care if the price goes back up in the future or whatever, just please keep the large 16oz quantity option. I use this all over my body not just my face and it works marvelously as a moisturizer and sunscreen in one. Another 10/10 product.

Pretty good, but not great
This moisturizer is pretty good. It does appear to effectively defend my skin against sun damage, but it is greasy and seems to add my skin’s general oiliness. Jack black used to have a better moisturizer that contained kaolin and cotton, but it was discontinued a few years ago and replaced with their current oil control formulation (which doesn’t work for me at all). I use the double duty moisturizer only because I haven’t made the effort to find a better alternative. If I am able to do so, I wouldn’t hesitate to make a switch.

Hi Ash, Thanks for reaching out! Have you tried our Dual Defense formula? It's an oil-free mineral SPF formula that may be preferable for those with oily skin types. :)
