It was nothing like the photo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frye quality is nothing like it has been in the past. Ive worn frye for 40+ years… I returned my last purchase. Will not purchase again.

Run small
These boots look nice.
They run small.
Frye uses a smaller US size numbering. An 11 could be an EU 43- Born 11's are EU 43 and Merril 11's are EU 42.5 but Frye's 11 is actually an EU 42.
Check your EU size which runs truer than the US sizes Frye uses.
I may have to return these, and Frye doesn't seem to make anything bigger in women's shoe.
The clothing has to fit you, not the other way around.

This is my third pair
This is my third pair of this style boot. 5 stars! I love them. Ordered my usual size 11. I am 71 yrs old and these are about the only kind of boot I can wear anymore. They go with pretty much anything. These are a little stiffer out of the box than my others but today is day three and I have no doubt I can wear them all day. Please keep making them. I told my husband I will try not to buy any more of them …unless you bring out the maroon suede again … then all bets are off. Thanks Frye for making such a great boot!
