Light Packer Hike Hooded Vest

For size reference I’m 5’2 132 lb & my normal size is a M but when I purchase FP tops i always have to size down to a XS. I probably could have gotten a S too but I like the overall fit of this vest as is. It is fully lined. Thicker than a typical windbreaker. It’s slightly cropped but wasn’t an issue. It’s lightweight & comfy fit. The multi pockets is a nice touch. I really like that this can be worn alone instead of layered over a top. Couldn’t decide on color so I got both the Navy & Neon Yellow. They will be a great staple this Spring & Summer.

I usually wear an XS top from this brand, but since this vest is cropped, I went with a size S to layer underneath and have a more comfortable fit around the shoulders and armholes. The vest itself is lightweight and works well over a sleeveless top or T-shirt even in the summer, though the attached accessories feel a bit heavy. It has plenty of pockets, and the hood is packable, which makes it very practical.

Trying to decide if zipper is faulty, it allows for bottom up, but seems to have a mind of its own. Will try wearing it around the house for a bit to see how it works out. Other than that… Design is great though lots of fabric. You could definitely size down. I’m guessing this will come in handy for walks and even golf, and not look boring like all the other golf clothing.
